That sounds pretty good to me! And yeah, Pherae would be ...awkward and clearly uncomfortable about it, but more in the sense that she is incredibly easy to make feel guilty, and this is something she feels quite guilty about already. But, especially if Durian was someone who knew Epibat well enough to be...well, not friends, since that's not really a troll concept, but positive acquaintances... she would definitely be willing to talk to him about it.

Pherae lives at the edge of a forest, with her hive being within the forest proper but very close a meadow that is plenty-sunlit during the day. She's isolated less by location than she is by the fact that she lives amidst a lot of dangerous Alternian wildlife, and has a reputation for being crazy-protective of that wildlife's well-being.
