Man, that'd happen with Eric. Her attentionspan really isn't that great if she's not interested. She doesn't have any bad intentions when she does that, though. Complicated education-things are just hard :( Eric would either wait patiently (or let's say for a while) till Lily is done rambling / spacing out, or simply ask her to come back down to earth. On the other hand I guess Eric would also come to her with ~*interesting*~ science fact, like asking her if it's true that mentos+coke explode (and then trying it out while Lily rambles about WHY it is like that) or ask her if she knows any new awesome science knacks. Lily gets to ramble to Eric about science from time to time, it's may just not be as appreciated as between true sciences-bro. Sorry, Lily. :(

Oh, I also assumed biological-science things. I guess space would be okay, unless Lily starts about facts like the elements of surface composition of certain planets.

As long as Lily isn't a dick Eric can definitely stand her and handle her ramblings! So, they're good...?
