Comment to this entry with your character's information/a claim to a title! An example of how your sheet should look can be found here! Remember a few things when commenting:

RULES:

1) This is not 100% canon, so misc. blood castes for trolls are allowed1 - however, we don't want to have excess numbers of mutantbloods running around, so please take that into consideration. Limebloods are also off-limits for the time being, since we have no canon information on them.
2) If you don't have a Patron Troll, Sibling, or Quadrants don't panic! Use the planning section below to find them.
3) POWERS for Trolls should be unique on some level; they are not mandatory for a character2
4) KIDS should be no younger than fifteen to sixteen years old
5) TROLLS should be no younger than seven sweeps old
6) Only one character per person will be accepted at the moment
7) There is an application cap in place! We would prefer not to have the game get any bigger than it was originally, so: a limit of four kids may be applied for. Trolls are at a limit of eight; all are permitted for Alpha session - Alpha was/is intended to be the larger of the two troll sessions!
8) Do NOT choose a Class/Aspect right now! These, as well as your character's planets (as they are supposed to be linked to your character's aspect) will be chosen AFTER you're accepted into the community. They are first-come, first-serve, so if you're building a character with a particular title in mind, there's no guarantee that you will actually get it!

1 Try to avoid a particular blood color if there are several with that similar type, diversity is more fun :)
2 If the one you want is taken, try to think of something quirky that works!


INFORMATION FOR NEW PLAYERS: Please refer to this post for a general outline of the game and what the multiple sessions entail! You can also use the game's timeline to refer to important events, or when a past character died or otherwise left the game. The most significant losses include Phaest Algfri and Samsra Sukana, the Alpha Team trolls that created the original game, and Arinna Onuava, who hacked Phaest's game and left Eighis Hapara to distrubute the game to Beta Team. So the remaining players might be in a heap of trouble without the creators around to explain anything!

It looks like a lot has happened since the game began back in March, but it really isn't that much to take in. Scrib is a very casual and slow-paced game - there is no activity check, and players are free to post and tag at their own leisure. :)

POWER: Puzzle-Solving and Snooping. She's particularly talented at solving puzzles and problems as well as making analytical deductions to solve challenges. She refuses to solve any more or less than four every day.

Abilities:
Avispa, specifically because of her history, is very fit and possesses incredible analytical and deductive capabilities. She is also able to survive on a minimal diet and can fend for herself in the wild.

Puzzles and challenges are nothing before her, given enough time and dedication to solving them, as the solutions seem to come to her as she works through them. Simple puzzles, such as rubix cubes, can be solved unconsciously. Her tendency to overanalyze even the simplest things, however, tends to be both a gift and a hindrance. There is no definition of "puzzle" in her mind, so even simple things can become puzzles to her.

Lastly, she lacks humor to the point that it could be called an ability. Whether it be not understanding the joke or overanalyzing it, she'll never "get" jokes, ever. Most jokes will result in either her brooding over it for the entire day, trying to solve it, and inevitably collapsing in confusion.

Personality:
Avispa's most prominent personality trait is her lack of social skills. Though she has considerable intelligence, she's not the type to actively seek out others to put that intelligence to use. An introvert by her very nature, she's more likely to observe others from afar to figure them out, turning their actions into her daily puzzles.

Her typing quirk reflects her usual shy-natured, apprehensive style of speaking. She is often unsure of how to handle conversations, especially if she has yet to solve her puzzles, as each and every thing that is said in the conversation could very well become a puzzle to her. She is prone to stuttering when unsure, accentuated by her added ellipses in her speech. In the event that she discusses a puzzle, her usual apprehension and shyness vanishes to allow her to fully discuss, at length, the puzzle; often without regard for the other party's interest in the topic.

She would welcome contact with other trolls and would do her best in each conversation she takes part in. She would rarely begin a conversation with others unless discussing a puzzle. Even after numerous encounters with the same troll, familiarity would remain a foreign concept. She acknowledges previous encounters, but "bonding" is beyond her. Though something that could be considered a category, such as a team, group, alliance, or faction would be understood in her mind without a problem.

Outdoors, her social skills disappear entirely. Being raised to survive, her focus becomes dedicated to that and that alone. Surviving is just as much of a puzzle as anything else, and it is the one puzzle that she has spent her entire life constantly solving; one piece at a time. Unfortunately, she has no proper sense of danger against foes and is unable to discern between weak or strong foes; this can lead her to end up being injured as a result of confronting a strong foe. With survival as her primary goal, she fights in an almost cowardly manner utilizing strikes and stabs while fleeing from oncoming offenses. If given a shield, she wouldn't know what to do with it nor would she want to know.

If she has not solved her four puzzles for the day, she will refuse to even sleep. Even if she were to try to sleep, her mind would be too wrapped up in her final puzzle to allow her even a moment of rest. If she grows too tired and inevitably solves her fourth puzzle, nothing will stop her from falling straight to sleep. Waking her is easy enough, as she never falls into a deep sleep; survival instincts are not so easily broken.

Thankfully, there is at least a single neverending puzzle that she can turn to if in need: The hemospectrum. Often, when fatigue sets in and she needs a fourth puzzle to finish off her day, she will contemplate the hemospectrum and its, to her, endless amount of confusing biological and societal rules and implications as well as caste designations. She longs to properly answer many of her long-standing questions about the eleven colors she is, sadly, unfamiliar with.


History:
With her Queen Bee Lusus, Avispa spent the majority of her life surviving in the wild. Her world provided constant challenges, puzzles, and obstacles. Her Queen Bee Lusus began their honeycomb hive in the center of the largest rock mountain. Any threats to the hive were often killed off with ease before coming close to the center. As Avispa grew, she ventured further through the hive and solved challenges and obstacles impeding the growth of the hive within the mountain. Never once did life allow her to settle in and create a proper room in her hive, as she moved around the hive from day to day, never staying in the same room twice.

The biggest challenge was food. Though mushrooms and plant growth within the rocky mountain could sustain Avispa in her youth, they were not enough as she grew older. Growing skilled as a hunter, Avispa replaced her lusus outside of the hive; within the hive, her lusus' primary focus became expanding the hive itself, lacing the tunnels throughout the mountain with defensive honeycombs. Though experienced, Avispa's cowardly style of fighting while focusing exclusively on her own survival makes her a weak fighter, unable to take down larger foes; though she fights them anyway, strong or weak.

Unique foes taken down either by herself or by her lusus, however, intrigue her. One of a kind creatures, for example, puzzle her in that she wonders why there were not more of them. She tends to keep trophies from these creatures. The most notable trophy that she possesses is a full skull from a hornbeast that fits upon her much like a mask.

Adapting to her survivalist needs, Avispa's hive is typically kept in her honeycomb fetch modus while her computer is mobile, contained in a set of glasses or goggles, depending on the weather.

INTRODUCTION:

Your name is AVISPA KUSBIR.

You live in a set of HONEYCOMBS that is also a HIVE, but still mostly just sticky HONEYCOMBS. You like to solve PUZZLES, but quite often the DANGEROUS KIND. You simply can't tell the DANGEROUS KIND apart from the SAFE KIND! You've been injured quite a few times from your lack of FORESIGHT.

Your daily routine is a PUZZLE from day to day. You solve your way through your HONEYCOMBS, often cleaning up leftover HONEY or adding to your HONEYCOMB FETCH MODUS! You often find various FLYING BEASTS or INTRUDERS caught or stuck in the HONEY. Your clever QUEEN BEE LUSUS takes care of both; she has always made sure you were well fed since you were a GRUBLING.

Outside of your HIVE, you can't really say you know too many other TROLLS. Maybe your CURIOSITY and PUZZLE-SOLVING desires will help change that? After all, there are probably even BETTER PUZZLES outside of your HIVE. To protect yourself, you keep with you your trusty STILETTO.
